MIXING AND STORING CYSTAGON

Cystagon needs to be stored at room temperature. As with any medication, it is not advisable to store bottle where temperatures are too hot or too cold. Discard expired drug. Be sure to use the bottle with the oldest expiration date first.

For patients who take the drug dissolved in liquid -- it is not advised to mix the drug into solution more than one day in advance.

There are no known drugs or food that interact with Cystagon. Many patients take the Cystagon mixed with polycitra or juice.
